G'Day All, hope all is well, as you know we had a comp at lake Fyans weekend that just past. (10 - 11 /Sept/10).

We had 12 adults and 5 juniors attend, with a tally of over 90 trout caught, mix of Browns and rainbows, most released almost all fish were around 850 to 1.2 kg.

There were 5 Trout over 1.5kg including 2.1kg Brown, a Redfin of 1.5 kg and a Rainbow of 1.65kg. Tassie devils did a lot of the damage with best colours being Pink, Yellow and Gold.

Weed was a bit frustrating, but working the lures and keeping them in long enough was rewarding.

Water level has now reached 60% and our last trip here was 6 years ago, where the water was 200-300 meters from the ramp, now the water covers the ramps edge by 1.5mts, so good to see.

Others fishing had success, although talking to those bait fishing didn't do as well as we did.
