Welcome to the Greenvale Sport and Game Fishing Club. 
We are a family oriented  recreational fishing club based in Greenvale in Melbourne Victoria. With over 200 active adult members and 75 junior members, we cater for all styles of fishing. As a member, some of the activities you can become a part of include; monthly competitions all over Victoria, monthly meetings in our clubhouse at Greenvale, monthly prize raffles, annual fishing trips interstate and abroad, annual Christmas party, annual Award presentation night. Presidents Report

Dear Members.
Another fishing calendar year starts and a huge thanks to the committee members who stayed on for another year, hope everyone can support them as we continue to keep the Club rolling along.

Congratulations to Mason Caruana this years Junior Club Champion,  It was great to see the juniors with their awards, and Congratulations to all parents making the effort in having your kids participate.

Congratulations to Paul Thermos another notch in the Plaque winning the Senior Club Champion. This was Paul’s 3rd time as
Club Champion, what a great effort.

Presentation night was a huge success, thank you to all who attended, the Sponsors and those who helped donate to the Raffle. Big Thank you to Joe Bailey and all the committee members who put in a huge effort over the last month to organize the night, a job well executed.

Nine Year Old Emily Spiteri presented with a truck load of trophies at a recent Junior Presentation night. Emily placed 1st in three Competitions as well as taking out the club prestigious Species award for highest point scoring fish, a 7.35 kg Snapper taken on 4 kg line.   Well Done Young Lady!

Port Phillip Bay - Trophy Fish!

Nine Year Old Emily Spiteri with a Trophy Fish which she caught at a recent Line Class Snapper Competition in Port Phillip Bay. The fish weighed in at a staggering 7.35kg and what was more mind blowing is that she landed the fish whilst fishing with a 2kg line class. Wow! What an achievement. One in which the most seasoned fishermen usually never gets to experience in a lifetime!    Well Done Young Lady!

Barrel Time! - Portland

Barrel Time onboard Reel-Entless with Anthony Camilleri and Brad Parkinson. The boys fished the 40 meter line out of Portland only a few kilometers from Lawrence Rock. After squandering 2 opportunities only an hour before, the team was rewarded for their persistence with a third opportunity which they converted.

Toolondo

Sebastian with a nice brown trout taken from Lake Toolondo. This place never ceases to amaze with the quality of big fish that this lake keeps on producing!

Kuala Rompin, Malaysia

Alfie and the a few of the guys with a nice sailfish from the annual trip to Kuala Rompin, Malaysia. Over 30 sailfish caught in 4 days, makes for an action packed trip. Affectionately called “Sails in the sun”, make sure you have a chat to Alfie for details!

Sebastian with a nice Chinook Salmon caught a a recent comp at Bullen Merri. This fish was taken whilst bait fishing and caught using pilchard fillets. Well done young Sebastian!
