Welcome to the Greenvale Sport and Game Fishing Club.
We are a family oriented recreational fishing club based in Greenvale in Melbourne Victoria. With over 200 active adult members and 75 junior members, we cater for all styles of fishing. As a member, some of the activities you can become a part of include; monthly competitions all over Victoria, monthly meetings in our clubhouse at Greenvale, monthly prize raffles, annual fishing trips interstate and abroad, annual Christmas party, annual Award presentation night. Port Phillip Bay - Trophy Fish!
Nine Year Old Emily Spiteri with a Trophy Fish which she caught at a recent Line Class Snapper Competition in Port Phillip Bay. The fish weighed in at a staggering 7.35kg and what was more mind blowing is that she landed the fish whilst fishing with a 2kg line class. Wow! What an achievement. One in which the most seasoned fishermen usually never gets to experience in a lifetime! Well Done Young Lady!
Barrel Time! - Portland

The boys fished the 40 meter line out of Portland only a few kilometers from Lawrence Rock. After squandering 2 opportunities only an hour before, the team was rewarded for their persistence with a third opportunity which they converted.

Ray Caruana with a nice blue fin tuna from a recent comp at Portland Victoria. One of may Blue Fin tuna caught during the tuna season which runs from March to August.
Kuala Rompin, Malaysia
Alfie and the a few of the guys with a nice sailfish from the annual trip to Kuala Rompin, Malaysia. Over 30 sailfish caught in 4 days, makes for an action packed trip. Affectionately called “Sails in the sun”, make sure you have a chat to Alfie for details!

A different type of Landbased – Windy day kept the boys off the water? No worries club members enjoyed harvesting some fresh rabbit. Well done all, living off the land nothing healthier.
